My friends at Heartbeat Radio for Women posted a quote from Sharon Stone that said, “I don’t believe makeup and the right hairstyle alone can make a woman beautiful. The most radiant woman in the room is the one full of life and experience.”
This reminds me of a significant lesson I learned years ago watching Lily Tomlin in her One Woman show in Chicago. The entire evening she wore the same dress and had the same makeup and hairstyle. As she portrayed different characters, she was unattractive, ugly, repulsive, cute, sexy, and stunningly beautiful.
It was amazing, her physical beauty had NOTHING to do with her clothes, makeup or her hair. It was all about her being.
Truly, it is what’s inside that counts.
