Welcome! I am so glad you have found your way here to my personal website.
My name is Mary Lore. I developed the step-by-step process called Managing Thought ® and I wrote the multiple award-winning book and audio book, also called Managing Thought.
I feel I have the best job in the world! I get to help men, women and kids around the world take control of their thoughts and enjoy their lives.
I am in the fortunate position of being with corporate leaders, business and health care professionals, educators, spiritual teachers, moms and dads, and teens and giving them tools to develop self-awareness and change how they think to reclaim their lives and attain true, long-lasting success.
My career started in accounting–that’s right–accounting! I graduated valedictorian from the business school at the University of Michigan—Dearborn where I majored in finance and accounting and minored in philosophy. Yes–philosophy. So while I can count beans, I have always wondered about each and every bean. To bean or not to bean was the big question for me!
I have spent the last thirty years serving as a CPA, a business turnaround expert, an entrepreneur, and now an internationally recognized thought leader, executive mentor, writer and public speaker.
The workshops I do, the book I wrote, and the resources on my Managing Thought website, have a powerful impact on individuals and organizations.
By practicing managing their thoughts, they have re-discovered what inspires them, re-framed their negative thoughts, reclaimed their peace of mind, revitalized their health, and rebuilt their relationships. Business leaders tell me how their organizations have rethought their path to success, restored their sense of purpose, re-focused their goals and priorities and reignited their creativity.
Their stories are amazing. See for yourself.
And by all means — please share your stories with me, with all of us — in video, audio, and writing. We all learn from you. It’s inspiring—and contagious!
I invite you to sign up for the blog, where I talk about how to manage our thoughts in the circumstances and situations we deal with everyday. And take advantage of all the tools here at the site.
I truly believe that managing our thoughts is the best gift we can give to ourselves, our families, our workmates, and through the ripple effect, the world.
Gandhi said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
When we manage our thoughts, we can be that change.
